Victor M. Arrañaga, Jr.
Following a 30-year career, including 10 years with Pacific Bell/SBC, Victor M. Arrañaga, Jr. was named head of California Government Affairs for Applied Materials in 2003 and is responsible for the public affairs of this leading corporate citizen. Victor is Chair-Elect of the San Jose-Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce COMPAC, incoming Chair of the Silicon Valley Leadership Group working council, Chair Emeritus of the San Jose Sports Authority, Chair of The First Tee San Jose, and a board member of Regional Medical Center and La Raza Roundtable.  A graduate of SJSU, Victor, his wife Cathy and two daughters live in San Jose.

 
     
 
 
 

Eddie García
García is an east San Jose native and San Jose State University graduate.  He and Sandra, a Principal in the Alum Rock Union School District, have two daughters: Marisa, 13, and Erica, 9. As Vice President of Government Affairs for Comcast, Eddie develops Comcast’s government affairs initiatives and maintains corporate communications with Bay Area elected officials. A former aide to Supervisor Blanca Alvarado, Eddie serves on the boards of the East Side Union High School District and Mexican Heritage Corporation. He is co-founder and President of the Latino Leadership Alliance, and an American Leadership Forum-Silicon Valley Senior Fellow.

 
     
 
 
 

Raquel González
Raquel is Bank of America’s Silicon Valley Market President.  In this role, she is the company’s senior executive and responsible for coordinating operations among all the bank’s lines of business as well as overseeing community development and philanthropic initiatives.  She also serves as the Bank’s Consumer Market Executive—responsible for consumer banking services and banking center operations.  González is the executive advisor for Bank of America’s Northern California chapter of HOLA, the Hispanic Organization for Leadership and Advancement.  She also serves on the boards of Silicon Valley Leadership Group and United Way Silicon Valley.  

 
     
 
 
 

Angel Mendez
Angel Mendez is the Senior Vice President of WorldWide Manufacturing for Cisco Systems. Mendez has been the Senior Vice President of Global Operations for PalmOne and has worked for General Electric, Allied, Citigroup and Gateway. His honors include being placed on the Corporate Elite List for the Hispanic Business Magazine and being named the “Business 2.0 Dream Team-All Star Executives any Company Would Kill For” He serves on the board for the Supply Chain Management Institute at USD.

 
     
 
   

Roberto Medrano
Co-Founder of Hispanic-Net, Roberto Medrano is the Executive Vice President of SOA Software. Medrano was Hewlett Packard's General Manager for several software groups, was the President of Finjan and was the CEO of Polivec. Additionally he has held executive positions at Sun Microsystems and Avnet. Medrano is either advisor or board member of several companies. Medrano was an active member on President Bush's National Security Advisory Committee, National Cyber Security Summit, the White House National Strategy to Secure Cyberspace, and participated in President Clinton's White House Security Summit. Medrano received BSEE from USC, MSEE from MIT and MBA from UCLA.

 
     
 
 
 

Margarita Quihuis
A social entrepreneur and mentor capitalist, Margarita Quihuis's career has focused on innovation, access to capital and entrepreneurship. Her accomplishments include directorship of the Women's Technology Cluster, venture capitalist, Reuters Fellow at Stanford and chairman and President of Hispanic-Net. Her efforts include financial innovation for the unbanked both in the United States and in developing countries and encouraging technological innovation on behalf of humanitarian needs.   In 2004, she was recognized by Women's eNews as one of their '21 Leaders for the 21st Century' for her efforts in increasing access to capital for women entrepreneurs and was named as one of WITI's Women to Watch in 2003. 

 
     
 
 
 

Eduardo Rallo
Eduardo Rallo is Partner at the Pacific Community Inc., a double bottom line Venture Capital private equity fund. Rallo also co-founded Brainstorm Ventures, World Wrapps Inc. restaurants and is the founder and chairman of Farmacia Remedios and Resmex Restaurant Group. He serves as board member and has provided growth financing for many comapnies in California. He has worked as a management consultant for Deloitte & Touche and Booz-Allen. Rallo received an MBA from Harvard University and a B.A. in Economics from UCSD. Rallo has received awards from the SF Business Times Latino Business Leadership and the UCSD Hispanic Scholarship Leadership among other recognitions.

 

 
     
 
   

George Reyes
Since 2002, George Reyes has been the Chief Financial Officer for Google. A seasoned finance executive with a wide range of experience at several well-known Silicon Valley technology companies, Reyes joined Google from ONI Systems where, as interim CFO, he assisted in the sale of the optical networking company to the Ciena Corporation. Prior to ONI Systems, Reyes spent 13 years at Sun Microsystems. During his years at Sun, he held a number of finance roles including Group Controller - General Systems, Director of Finance - Intercontinental Operations, Audit Director, Vice President - Corporate Controller and Vice President-Treasurer. Currently, Reyes is a Director of Symantec Corporation and BEA Systems Inc. Reyes holds an MBA from Santa Clara University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from the University of South Florida.

 
     
 
 
 

Jason Rodriguez
Jason Rodriguez is Director of State and Local Government Affairs for Hewlett-Packard. Rodriguez served as the youngest elected trustee of the Alum Rock Union Elementary School District, founded a community newspaper, East, The Neighborhood Voice, and was a Business Development Manager for Knight Ridder and a staff aid to then Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors, Mike Honda. Currently, Rodriguez is the Vice Chair of the After-School All-Stars, trustee of COMPAC, and on the advisory board of All-Stars Helping Kids and the Mayfair Initiative.

 
     
 
 
 

Jorge Titinger
Titinger came to California from Peru in 1980 to attend Stanford, where he received BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering and Engineering Management, all with distinction. He also achieved several Academic and Athletic honors and was captain of the Varsity Soccer team. He later joined the US National Indoor Soccer team and was captain several years. He has promoted soccer through the Boys Clubs of America in the Bay Area.Jorge is a senior executive at KLA-Tencor, responsible for Global Operations. He is on several advisory boards, and is very active with Bay Area soccer. For community involvement, he participates in events such as Read Across America, NSHMBA conferences, and the SEMI North America Advisory Board.
